Without a trace

Seems like Hope was gone for 8 years, then re-appeared to release Through The Devil Softly. Now it seems like she has disappeared without a trace again I really don't follow any other bands, but is this normal for a band to just disappear without warning and leave you hanging whether or not they are still producing new material? As a fan, it kinda makes me feel........shitty.

It does make me feel a little....let's say dioriented in a way......but that's Hope for ya...she tends to avoid the limelight:):)
