I remember attending the "Bavarian Fruit Bread" concert at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles...I never thought that I would have the chance to see her once again, and here it is!!!! :P

It seems so long ago the Bavarian was released, my life is so much different in almost every way, but then again, it's been 8 years.

Bavarian is just as good as anything Mazzy,in fact,if I dare, it's like a sequel to Among my Swan, just as amazing and hypnotic, thus making me very excited for Through the devil softly.

It does seem like a long time to wait for an album, but David Gilmour waited 12 years between Floyd's Division Bell to his solo On an Island, which by the way is very Floydish.

George Harrison waited 15 years between his Cloud Nine album and his final album Brainwashed, but it was well worth the wait.

Bavarian is just as acceptable as annihilation Mazzy,in fact,if I dare, it's like a aftereffect to Among my Swan, just as amazing and hypnotic, appropriately authoritative me actual aflame for Through the devil softly.

It does assume like a continued time to delay for an album, but David Gilmour waited 12 years amid Floyd's Division Bell to his abandoned On an Island, which by the way is actual Floydish.

All the world's aflame.

This heart will never be the same.

Never.

Even though my original BFB CD is still in good shape, I'm gonna buy a copy of the new re-release just to have a fresh version.

"Suzanne" video

Postby SoftDevil » Mon Oct 26, 2009 7:50 pm

Anyone ever notice how the word "Bavarian" is misspelled on the YouTube video for "Suzanne" (at the start and end)? It's spelled "Bavarioan Fruit Bread"!

"Suzanne" is such a gorgeous song..... just TWO chords throughout the entire song, and it never gets boring!

Bavarian Fruit Bread is a flawless album that is up there with Among My Swan. Personally, I prefer it more than Through The Devil Softly because it's more consistent and unique (I just love the MBV-esque flourishes on a couple of the tracks). A wonderful masterpiece!
