What's new? __ February 1, 2010 - NPR is streaming Massive Attack's new album Heligoland (including the track "Paradise Circus" featuring Hope) for free until February 9, 2010 (album release date). Heligoland is available for pre-order [ Amazon / Amazon UK / iTunes ]

__ January 24, 2010 - Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions have recorded "Golden Hair" by Syd Barrett (Pink Floyd) for the March 2010 issue of Mojo (UK). "Golden Hair" is from Barrett's 1970 album The Madcap Laughs and is structured around a poem by James Joyce. The track will be made available at iTunes and a 7" vinyl will be released in the Spring.

Hope's bio __ Hope Sandoval was born June 24, 1966 and grew up in east L.A. with her Mexican-American family. She started her career with her friend Sylvia Gomez in a folk duo called Going Home in 1986. Hope would later form Mazzy Star with David Roback and release 3 albums in the 1990s. Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions released Bavarian Fruit Bread in 2001 and Through The Devil Softly in 2009.
