__ August 15, 2017 - Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions will be releasing a four-song EP, Son of a Lady on September 15, 2017. [ iTunes / Amazon MP3 / Amazon Vinyl ]
From mxdwn.com: The physical release will be on 10" vinyl and released via Tendril Tales (Sandoval's own label). The short album will feature three new songs: "Sleep," "Son of a Lady" and "Antiquity." Also appearing on the record will be an alternative, acoustic version of the song "Let Me Get There," which features Kurt Vile. All of the songs are from the band's Until the Hunter sessions. Other collaborators on the EP include Dirt Blue Gene, Mariee Sioux and 'Artist General' Michael Masley.

__ Hope Sandoval was born June 24, 1966 and grew up in east L.A. with her Mexican-American family. She started her career with her friend Sylvia Gomez in a folk duo called Going Home in 1986. Hope would later form Mazzy Star with David Roback and release 3 albums in the 1990s. Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions released Bavarian Fruit Bread in 2001 and Through The Devil Softly in 2009.
